Motivated by the 2008 financial crisis, Kim pursued a career in finance, viewing it as a service to others. With extensive entrepreneurial experience since 1994, he has supported numerous businesses and individuals across various sectors, including agriculture and industrial tools.
Kim studied business management at BYU Idaho, where he met his wife, Jenny; they married in 1993. He grew up on a farm in Delta, Ohio, which instilled in him a love for a simple lifestyle and rural living.
Family is a top priority for Kim and Jenny, who have three children and a standard poodle named "Sig." While he has received many awards, his greatest pride lies in his family.
An active individual, Kim enjoys off-roading with the Glass City Crawlers, participates in shooting sports, and is a licensed amateur radio operator. He has also served his church community in Argentina during his youth.
